ABOUT

Dechamps is a Paris-based brand with a focus on tailoring. The house is rooted in the textile heritage of the Dechamps mill, originally founded in 1872.
Revived in 2023 by designer duo Camil Krings and Mirja Hansen, the brand presents two collections a year, along with a fine leather goods line. Each season centers on a distinct theme, exploring the details and rituals embedded in clothing.

The Atelier is located at 2 Passage du Chantier in Paris.

THE HISTORY

"A young brand with over 150 years of history."
- M&T2 Magazine
The name Dechamps has its roots in a textile factory called Dechamps & Drouven, founded in 1872 by Paul Dechamps, an ancestor of Camil Krings. The mill specialized in high-quality suit fabrics and remained in the family for over a century.
Inspired by the textile heritage and archives, Camil Krings and Mirja Hansen revived Dechamps as a fashion brand in Paris in 2023, with a focus on tailoring and fine leather goods.
