It is in Paris that Mirja and Camil launch their Franco-German brand “Dechamps”. Housed in the library of a renowned architect in the Marais, they were able to set up their atelier to entirely create the first collection “High Twist” by hand.
Dechamps stands for an androgynous elegance that plays with the codes of the classic men‘s wardrobe. All garments are made to order in the parisian atelier. The accessories of the collection are made by craftsmen with an exceptional know-how: the silk scarves and leather goods are made in France, and the jewelry is made in Germany.

History of Dechamps
Founded in 1872 in Aachen, Germany, Dechamps was a mill specialized in the manufacture of high-end clothing fabrics and was run by Camil‘s family for more than 125 years. Today, Mirja and Camil are bringing Dechamps back to life in order to cultivate this history and rich heritage. The rediscovery of the archives in the Tuchwerk museum in Aachen allows them to explore the philosophy and the know-how of the former mill Dechamps and helps them to revive this textile culture.
